CFBA Statement - Please Read
As a member of the Canine & Feline Behaviour Association, I specialise in writing canine behavioural reports tailored to help your understanding and future ability to correct your dog's behavioural issue(s), in accordance with the Association's code of practice. These reports are based on the information provided by you during the consultation, plus my observations of your dog's behaviour and my recommendations to address the problem(s). When your dog displays any type of aggression, whether directed towards another dog , person or other animal, it is crucial for you, as the owner, to be fully aware of all your legal responsibilities. This covers any behaviour modification advice or techniques I have recommended or demonstrated during our consultation. Your responsibilities are outlined under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, the Animals Act 1871, and the Anti-Social Behaviour Acts currently in effect. I highly recommend familiarising yourself with these laws. I am not a solicitor or lawyer and hence am unable to give you any legal advice.
