Naomi Brooks

I studied a BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare at Bristol University and joined the Best Behaviour team at the beginning of 2012. I am the Sevenoaks Practice Manager (Franchisee), exercising and socialising approximately 80 dogs per week. I particularly enjoy using my skills to match dogs’ temperaments to form groups in which each dog can mix and play at their own individual pace.  For some participation is immediate, whilst other dogs like to assess all the characters before they join in. By structuring these groups correctly, every dog develops friendships that enable them to develop into a happy and well socialised dog for their owner. An extremely satisfying achievement!

I have always been passionate about dogs and after returning to work following bringing up my son I now have my dream job!

I’ve loved applying my knowledge of dogs to working with Best Behaviour to be able to manage groups of dogs playing together. It’s great to see how much the dogs love their time together and the benefit they get from their social interactions with each other.

I’ve worked with dogs for many years but am super excited to join the Best Behaviour team and the great community of dogs and owners.

I completed my BSc in Animal (Massage) Therapy and have a strong interest in animal rehabilitation and also caring for our pets as they age. I’m hoping to use this knowledge to help all dogs enjoy their experience even if they can’t run quite as fast as they used to!

Having semi retired from my previous role in the city, I really enjoy walks with my own two dogs in the Kent Countryside. I am so pleased to now be sharing the fun with so many more wonderful dogs at Best Behaviour!
